‘Stories in words and notes’

… and once again, it was an unforgettable evening at the ATOMOS Clinic!
On 19 September 2025, the audience listened to the moving compositions of Dr Andreas Böck.
Dr Böck played the Bösendorfer grand piano and was accompanied by Michael Scheed on the guitar.
The net proceeds from the evening went to the MOMO Children’s Palliative Care Centre.

The ‘Culture and Medicine’ concert series once again delights audiences at the ATOMOS Clinic in Währing!

On 27 June 2025, another concert in the popular ‘Culture and Medicine’ series took place at the ATOMOS Clinic. The event, in cooperation with Bösendorfer, was attended by numerous guests who enjoyed an atmospheric evening under the motto ‘Romantic Start to Summer’.
Internationally renowned artists Tomoko Mayeda (violin) and Yuumi Yamaguchi (piano) enchanted the audience with a finely tuned programme and musical virtuosity.

On 11 June 2025, another event in the ‘Culture and Medicine’ series took place at the ATOMOS Klink Währing.
The highlight of the evening was a piano concert featuring the young pianist Erwin Flores, who performed masterpieces by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Sergei Rachmaninoff and Frédéric Chopin on the Bösendorfer Grand Piano 214 VC.
Following the concert, Erwin Flores was awarded the ‘Wolfgang and Nannerl Prize’ and the Golden Mozart Medal by MOZARTgemeindeWIEN, which also organised the evening.

A SUCCESSFUL PREMIERE:
Culture at ATOMOS Klinik Währing

Last Thursday, 13 June 2024, a new series of events combining culture and medicine kicked off at ATOMOS Klink Währing.

The charity event in co-operation with Bösendorfer attracted numerous guests to the event hall of the ATOMOS Klini Währing. They enjoyed the wonderful interplay of piano music and language, which was dedicated entirely to the Austrian writer, lyricist and playwright Hugo von Hofmannsthal. The inventor of Jedermann and co-founder of the Salzburg Festival would have been 150 years old this year.

It was also a premiere for paediatrician and composer Andreas Böck and Uschi Nocchieri, director and actress: it was their first time on stage together – their programme delighted the audience. Under the title “Hugo von Hofmannsthal – a musical-recitative approach”, Andreas Böck accompanied the lyrical journey into the multifaceted world of the famous Austrian with his own works on the piano. Bösendorfer Managing Director Sabine Grubmüller was also present to attend this cultural event, in which the concert grand piano produced by the Vienna-based piano manufacturer played a key role. She lauded the artists and the event, especially as it also served a good cause: The net proceeds from the evening’s voluntary donations will go to the Kinderhospiz Lichtblickhof – an institution that fulfils the dreams of seriously ill children through its work with animals.

An informative evening at the new menopause centre at ATOMOS Klinik Währing.

THIS WAS OUR EVENT ON 18 MARCH 2024 WITH PRESENTATIONS ON THE TOPICS:

• Alternatives to hormone replacement therapy
  
• Osteoporosis: Focusing on women’s bone health
• Dry skin in menopause
• Cystitis & bladder weakness

Almost one hundred people showed great interest in the topic of this evening at the ATOMOS Clinic.
Informative and extremely appealing presentations by the four doctors led to many questions and competent, helpful answers.
A big thank to all the speakers and also to the many ladies with their enthusiastic questions!

Conclusion: The menopause can be so lively. 😃
