The Competence Center for Plastic Surgery covers a broad spectrum of services, from aesthetics to reconstructive surgery, dermatosurgery, and hand surgery.

Under the high-quality standards set by Dr. med. Claudia Gschnitzer and Univ.-Doz. Dr. Artur Worseg, a team of plastic surgeons works with sensitivity and mindfulness, long-standing surgical experience, and attention to the individuality of our patients, aiming for the big goal of holistic medicine where art and healing are no longer separate.

Here, as in all our departments, interdisciplinarity as a lived practice is available to all our patients (beyond the stay, psychosocial coaching, healing massage, acupuncture, and psychotherapy are happily offered upon request).

Postoperative care is particularly important to us. The next follow-up appointment in the outpatient clinic is already scheduled before discharge. These appointments include dressing changes, wound checks, suture removal, and discussion of findings. Optimal aftercare is in our eyes one of the most important aspects of treatment.

Plastic-Reconstructive Surgery

Plastic-reconstructive surgery deals with the restoration of form and function after cancer diseases, accidents, burns, and congenital deformities. Dermatosurgery

Skin surgery or dermatosurgery is a branch of plastic reconstructive surgery and includes the surgical treatment of malignant and benign skin changes. The treatment spectrum includes the surgical removal of malignant and benign skin tumors as well as the treatment of scars and wounds.
